We are a church in the South-West region of Stuttgart, in the town of Schönaich. We are a community of people who are discovering who God is and who are growing in our love and commitment to Jesus and each other.

OUR MISSION

Before Jesus ascended into heaven after his resurrection, He gave His followers (the church) one final command: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19–20 NIV).

We believe that this is Christ’s mission for the church and that God inspires each individual and community of believers to fulfill the mission in different ways. This is referred to as their vision.

The mission of SMCC is to collaborate with the larger Body of Christ, the Church, in the Global mission of glorifying God by fulfilling our Great Commission according to the specific vision Jesus imparts.

As a missional community of Christ followers within the greater Stuttgart area, we are to love Jesus, love one another, and love those without Christ as we proclaim the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit to all nations of the world.

Stating this succinctly, our perpetual purpose is:  Pursuing God - Reaching People - Together

OUR VISION

The Vision of SMCC is to reach an increasing number of people within the South-West region of the Greater Stuttgart area, introducing them to Jesus and encouraging them to trust and obey him through our example of a life devoted to him. Our primary objective is to focus on reaching the local U.S. military population and English-speaking Expats, while also ministering to our host community and incorporating them all into God's family and ours.
